The roundest ball ever and Henry can't wait to get his hands on
it!
Imagine it flying through the rarified South African
air off Wayne Rooney's right boot and rattling into the back of the
opposition net.
Rooney has talked about how he dreams of big games
beforehand and paints pictures in his mind.
Well, take a good look at the ball Wayne and get to
work! The ball will be officially unveiled by FIFA president Sepp
Blatter at the World Cup draw in Cape Town on Friday.
But SunSport can exclusively reveal the new ball days
ahead of schedule. It's called "Jabulani", which means "to
celebrate" in is in Zulu and features a South African design.
Manufacturers adidas claim that a newly-developed "Grip
'n Groove" profile is said to provide "an exceptionally stable
flight and perfect grip under all conditions!"
So provided Rooney and his team-mates are aiming in the
right direction, it should go in!
The name Jabulani pays tribute to the passionate
football celebration fans will hopefully enjoy in South Africa next
summer.
Eleven different colours are used, representing the 11
players in each team, the 11 official languages of South Africa and
the 11 South African communities.
England hope to be confirmed as one of the top eight
seeds in a meeting in Cape Town tomorrow.
